Mother said "good job, I'm proud of you," and then proceeded to scold me for my lazy, ineffective ways regarding my not-knowing a bus route to Sheridan exactly 25 seconds later. My dad did not acknowledge me or my marks and praised my sister for washing the dishes. This means things went about as expected.
Went back out to Markham again because the sister wanted to buy a wallet. Stopped off at Metro Square and wandered around for a while... the nail polish at the Korean makeup store caught Vicki's eye (it always does) and we wandered in. There were mineral eyeshadows on sale and because I've been looking for stuff that is more sparkles, less color, and not out-and-out solid glitter, I went to putter around. Some of them were on sale too for $3.50. Alas, the one I ended up buying was of a different brand (sneaky, sneaky, putting them all on the same table) and came to ~$7.50. I did not mind though, because Vicki and I both like the man who runs the store, and he always gives us free samples. Plus, it's cool to be recognized and treated nicely even though we've never actually purchased anything before this. Someday when I am not suffering from Christmas buyer's guilt...
To note: talk of buying more makeup makes me feel slightly ungrateful since the boyfriend already spoiled me rotten by buying me some for Christmas already. :( But I heart being able to play around with so many colors. :) Also, it comes in a cute compact.
Also while there, I went and got a haircut. :) It's been a long time coming, the last one I got was in the summer and my mom's been harping about it since about a month after I got it.
Then we went to Pacific Mall. I finally found something for the boyfriend for Christmas. It's biiiiig. And I'm not going to say what it is because I know he stalks this LJ religiously and so will be able to see. :O Can't have that! But it was hard to carry back. I nearly slipped and fell in the slush. ;p Not heavy. But bulky. I hope he can use it. :\ And that I can get it to him. Not exactly something I can Greyhound easily with. ^_^;
My dad came to show me where he parked the car and unlocked it for me to stick Dan's gift in the trunk. And then he bought me yummy yummy fish balls when we went to meet up with everyone else. :) I think he's a little happy for me about my grades too.
We had dinner. Came home. Watched two more episodes of TSCC with my sister whom I am slowly converting to the cause. Episode 7 was incredibly fucked up for some reason because only half the audio played, though I know for a fact that it played perfectly fine during my several run-throughs. I've got to check the settings on WMPC tomorrow. Played guessing games with the boyfriend because we are both adept at trying to keep secrets from each other and playing baiting games all the way. :)
He killed a lot of zombies while I'm gone. :( Tomorrow: my turn. (Taking into account that I need to clean the whole house several times over for company coming-over purposes.)
