o.O
I talk with odd people online. Yes. Yes I do. Namely these two. I think they're creepy enough to be stalkers-but-not-really-though-they-want-to-take-satellite-pictures-of-my-house. Here's a conversation with one of them however that amused me mightily.

[Stephanie] Elephant vampire says:
it's not exactly science--unless of course you're talking land science, but that's stretching it pretty thin. it's geography.
[Stephanie] Elephant vampire says:

And this is the point where he signed off. ^^

Oh yes. Best thing happened today. I get on the school bus (normal, everyday schoolbus) and it's playing "Change the World". I danced around in my seat the entire bus ride as I realized that all the subsequent songs were Japanese. J-pop I grant you, but this is Oakville. People know the existence of japanese music? Next thing you'll tell me is that Hyde lives the street from me.

HIIII from out of nowhere!
^_______^ Hooooray for you! Was it a passenger on the bus who was playing the music, or was it the DRIVER? And what other songs did you hear? I think the only time I ever heard Japanese music being played by someone other than me was at the Asahiya bookstore/CD store, where they played an Utada Hikaru CD.

Re: HIIII from out of nowhere!
^________^ It was the DRIVER! Over the fancy speaker things buses have nowadays (or at least the new ones)! *hearts* It was pleasing! And so utterly random! I mean, I could understand the Inuyasha theme music as it plays on TV... but Ayumi Hamasaki doesn't often get played as mainstream music in Canada! *smiles happily* I'm loving this progress!! ^__^

LOL! I wanna talk to that kid!!! XD I love talking to stupid people. They frustrate me, but it makes for awesome entertainment! ^-^

Change the World? On the bus? You're so lucky ;_; All the people on my bus are wannabe gangsters in Catholic school uniforms XD
Stephaniemirroredsakura on September 11th, 2004 04:32 am (UTC)
I KNOW! ^_______________^ I was near hugging the bus driver. Except he's a new one, I don't know who the heck he is, and he'd probably look at me funny. But I don't care! He played J-pop!!! *squees* They have begun to permeate even the biggest bubble of elitest society in the GTA! *hearts Japan*

I've been waiting for this day... ;_;

^^ I'm religious, but I can't prove my religion is any more valid than anyone else's simply because it's the dominant belief system in this day and age. I can prove however that Canada, the United States and Mexico are part of North America and that North America is indeed a continent. ^_^

*laughs* I do so LOVE annoying the peons with things like that *grins insanely* That used to be my favourite past-time.

Now I'm too busy reading smut in my free time to play mindgames with the peasants. Alas.
Stephaniemirroredsakura on September 13th, 2004 12:18 am (UTC)
Waitwait... to pretend to not-know the countries in North America? Or not believing it? @.@

Hi! I just saw your post at the gxh comm. from a looong time ago about the lariku otakon performance pics/vid you have...and was wondering if you still have the files to send to people who are interested. ^__^ I hope I'm not causing any type of inconvenience asking this. Thanks in advance for your response.
Stephaniemirroredsakura on September 13th, 2004 12:17 am (UTC)
Yes I do, they're still floating around. ^^;; Uh... if you want the pictures, go here: (http://photobucket.com/albums/v129/mirroredsakura/Otakon%202004%20Concert/)

But the video file is way too big to send through email, and way too illegal to upload anywhere. ^^;;;

Stephaniemirroredsakura on September 13th, 2004 01:30 am (UTC)
